Here's the latest from the HealthTalk Multiple Sclerosis Education Network:
Event This Week: My Therapy Expectations:
Are They Realistic?
Some living with MS may think of disease-modifying drugs as a cure and become disappointed when MS continues to affect their lives. Others may be living with treatable symptoms because they don't realize newer treatments could help or because they've surrendered to a lower quality of life. What are your expectations? Are they unrealistic or outdated?
If you think your expectations could use a reality check, tune in on Thursday to hear experts discuss realistic expectations for MS therapies and share strategies patients can use to meet those expectations.
And, as always, you'll get a chance to ask the experts your questions.
BONUS: Be sure to attend this program live on the Internet and be automatically entered to win a pair of QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Canceling Headphones by Bose, the newer, smaller, sleeker version of the high-performance headphones with award-winning noise reduction technology.
